Our food reflects the local environment – with locally reared meat and fresh fish always featuring in our kitchen. We source the best ingredients for our dishes, using local seasonal produce wherever possible.

We feature changing daily specials devised by our kitchen team, led by Head Chef Chris Reid. Morning coffee and cakes are served daily from 10:30am and our food is available from 12 Noon until 8pm Monday to Thursday,12 Noon until 9pm Friday/Saturday and 12 Noon until 5:30pm on Sundays.
On a frosty day relax in the cosy bar and warm your cockles with some home cooked food – what about braised shoulder of lamb served with garlic potatoes? When the weather bucks up you can soak up some rays in the beer garden with freshly battered haddock and chips – perfect with a pint whilst watching the tide turn on the estuary.
If you’re here for a drink, our bar is open from 12 Noon until 11pmSundays to Thursdays and until 11.15pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
We have guest beers to tickle your fancy and an enviable range of Cask ales; our full-bodied Lancaster Bomber to the smoother sweeter Wainwright- something for every palate and occasion. Our latest favourite with the Locals is ‘The Bore’, brewed by Thwaites for us! Additionally we feature three chilled lagers, Shipyard Pale Ale, Aspall’s Suffolk Cyder, Thwaites Smooth and Guinness on our bars.
We also have a wide range of wines, bottled lagers and fruit ciders, as well as a number of soft drinks including J2Os. Our carefully selected wine features wine from the bottle and by the glass including Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay in the whites, Italian & Californian Rosé and Merlot, Shiraz, Malbec and Rioja in the Reds.
